The juniors supported the freshmen in their quest to defeat the sophomores. So to, the seniors supported the sophomores. While the freshmen had their meetings with junior advisers, the sophomores received their instructions from the seniors. The sophomores discussed the rules of engagement, tactics, the attack formation, rope stations, camp plans, when and where they would assemble, timing of the march, the line of march to the Tank, and the all important password to identify each other in the dark. Early on the upperclassmen held a joint meeting to discuss safety concerns and the rules for the year.
