Tank Scrap
Variations on the Theme
There were also auxiliary scraps on occasion. In 1907, for example, the sophomores and freshmen of the Purdue Medical School in Indianapolis had a scrap at the state capital building. The freshmen lost and were chained, and marched through the downtown streets. An auxiliary Ladies Scrap on the West Lafayette campus took place on the freshmen floor of Ladies Hall. The 1910 Scrap went on for two hours ending with the freshmen dually tied up and painted. Both of these events occurred more than one year. The School of Medicine existed from 1905-1907.
