Donated by Schantz-Hansen in 1955, this collection includes more than 650 children's books dating from the 1800s-1955 in English, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Russian, German, Chinese, French, and Spanish. Schantz-Hansen began this collection in 1925 and chose many of the books for the quality of their illustrations or historical interest.
