In the early days, the defeated , after being painted and decorated with corn stacks were bound in a line and marched through West Lafayette, across the Wabash, and brought to the Tippecanoe County Courthouse.
All good Tank Scrap parades required a Tank Scrap band to lead the procession as here in 1910.
