Collection Focus

The Flight and Space Exploration Archives seeks to collect original, rare, and unique materials that relate to the history of flight and space exploration and, in particular, materials that reveal the impact Purdue University’s teaching and research has had on aeronautics and astronautics. The Archives seeks the papers of individuals such as pilots, astronauts, engineers, researchers, and others whose careers and accomplishments have made contributions to the fields of flight and space exploration. Specifically, papers may include correspondence, manuals, maps and blueprints, memorabilia, notebooks, photographs, reports, research notes, speeches and lectures, log books, training materials, scrapbooks, and audiovisual materials.
