Cords and Pots
Pots
Members of numerous organizations on campus at one time wore what became know as pots (skull caps or sailor caps) on the Purdue campus. Like the senior bowler, the junior hat, and the freshman cap, the pots served to identify the wearer as a member of a specific group on campus. The first time they appearis in the Debris is in 1937. The images are of the Gimlets, a booster club made up of juniors and seniors.
