A dedication ceremony took place at Mann Hall, 203 S. Intramural Drive, on the southwest edge of campus. Gerald "Jerry" Mann and his wife, Edna, donated the initial $3 million for constructing the building. The Lilly Endowment gave $2 million to create two endowed positions: a directorship for the e-Enterprise Center, and the Gerald and Edna Mann director of the Bindley Bioscience Center.
